What do I when I get there?

  1. Wait for others to join and the meeting to begin (6:00pm). (Jeremy will be connecting around 5:30pm to help you find your way around.)
  2. When the meeting begins we are asking everyone to mute your mic until called upon. (If you need to mute your camera, you can do that as well, but I would encourage you to consider leaving it on for a more personal experience.)
  3. Open the chat window and keep it open during our time together.
  4. During discussion and prayer requests, if you would like to share with the groups, let Jeremy know by simply typing your name in the chat window and pressing enter. When called upon, unmute your mic, then mute your mic again when you are finished sharing. (Jeremy may you a follow up question so prepare to unmute again if necessary.) Please stay on topic during the discussion and wait to be called upon to unmute your mic.
  5. As far as prayer requests go, since this is a more open group than our normal Wednesday night setting, use only first names and general needs when asking for prayer for other people for the privacy of those involved. (Examples: “Joe is having a medical procedure on Friday.” “Sue is having some family issues.” “My friend Tom needs the Lord.”) If you are sharing personal prayer needs, you may be as specific as you would like to be, but please bear in mind we might have children joining us.
  6. Fellowship with one another before and after the meeting, but keep in mind, the whole world is watching.
  7. Please refrain from political rants, personal attacks or criticisms, theological bickering, and inappropriate or racist language/topics. You will be banned.
